Pauanui panoramic

With good weather forecast and high tide at 9.30am last Sunday, I decided to make the drive over to Pauanui on the Coromandel Peninsulas east coast  to take a few panoramic photos from the top of the hill at the southern end of the beach.

The walk up the steep zig zag track to the summit took approximately 40 mins and certainly gave my unfit legs a good workout, though the view from the top was well worth the effort and I am very happy with the images that I captured.

With such a wide angle of view to capture I had to resort to taking multiple overlapping images and then digitally stitch them together using Photoshop once I got home. Several of the resulting images are able to be printed to over 3.0m in length, though I am not sure how one would go about mounting such a wide print for display on the wall.
