CMRFU Club Rugby starts for 2013 – Ardmore Marist vs Onewhero

Tisini Tongotongo fends of Jason Guthrie’s tackle as he charges upfield. Counties Manukau Premier Club Rugby game between Ardmore Marist and Onewhero played at Bruce Pulman Park, Papakura, on Saturday March 16th 2013..Ardmore Marist won the game 22 – 3 after leading 12 – 3 at halftime.

Counties Manukau Premier Club Rugby for 2013 started this weekend and I ventured out to Bruce Pulman Park to watch Ardmore Marist take on Onewhero.

The game was a typical early season match with short spells of exciting attacking rugby and lots of very long periods of ordinary play. Having said that Ardmore Marist did manage a fairly comfortable bonus point win, while Onewhero struggled to get going at all and will be hoping for better things in their next game.
