The Counties Manukau 2014 Club Rugby season kicked off yesterday in the remnants of cyclone Lusi and I covered the game between Bombay and Karaka.

The Karaka boys looked very impressive in their 39 – 12 victory and could well be a force if they can perform at that level for the season.

Bombay on the other hand played a typical first-up season game and will hopefully improve with a few more games under their belt.
